8 Best Apps for your Phone

Today I am going to discuss my personal favorite 8 apps for the mobile phone. We normally have apps like WhatsApp, Facebook, Google maps, angry birds and other apps for our phone but the apps I am going to discuss, deserve a place in your phone.

Flipkart A must for your shopping. Flipkart is one of the leading e-commerce sites for online shopping. You can order your items instantly from its apps. It has a nice user interface to order track and pay securely.One of the best apps for your iPhone and Android phones.It also has an interesting features Ping to shop with your friends and also you can buy and share with family and friends easily with one click.You can download the app from here.

Saavn – I simply love this music app. It has wonderful user screen with quick button to create a playlist. Now you do not need to download songs, you just need the internet to play a song. I love its long collection of songs in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi etc. You can create your playlist and make some song favorite and play it again. It has a paid version which lets you play the song while you are offline. But the free version is good enough to play old and new songs. It is available for Android and IOS.

Zomato – Are you a foodie or often go to a restaurant, you have to have this app. This app will quickly search nearby restaurant and show you their review and rating. You can check their menu and website also on their app. They also have the facility to reserve or order foods. You can search restaurant within a range. Apps are available for IOS, Windows, and Android.

 Times of India – Want to get updated news on the go. I prefer this app in comparison with other like NDTV and Ibnlive as it is authenticated and not commercialize. I like its push notification of latest and breaking news. It also has the separate option of videos news.It is available for almost all platforms.

Flickr – Though there are other photo apps available in the market like Instagram, Dropbox etc, but I like Flickr simply because it offers 1TB of free space. It also has an auto backup feature which will keep on syncing photo from your phone to Flickr in private mode. It also has a large collection of the photo which can be used commercially or for wallpaper etc.

Cricbuzz – Recently this app made a mark with 5 million plus download. You can use it to get latest Cricket news on the go. It is lightweight and works well with low bandwidth internet connection. Very easy to navigate with a lot of Cricket related games. It has the feature like live score, news update, photos, videos and point table.

Paytm/Freerecharge – Most of the banking apps provides the feature of recharging your phone or cable tv. You can use this app in case your app does not provide this feature. You can use Freecharge and Paytm to recharge your Prepaid and DTH account online. It is easy, convenient and includes many payment methods.You can select your favourite numbers to recharge in one click.

TripAdvisor – This is my personal favourite app to find a review about hotels, restaurants, and places to visit. I always visit TripAdvisor before going to any hotels, restaurant or hill station. A must app for every traveler and foodie.
